Related Projects

Two other projects look(ed) at the interface between standardisation and research, albeit from different angles. These projects are:

MAXIQUEST

Maxiquest-Norm is an Accompanying Measure project funded under the European Commission 5th RTD Framework Programme. The project focus on 'Maximising Quality and Efficiency of Standards through Normative Research' (NR).

The aim of Maxiquest-Norm is to improve mutual awareness and initiate sustainable measures that will improve integration between the normative research and standardisation communities.

COPRAS

The 'COoperation Platform for Research And Standards' aims to establish a supporting action to enable the FP6 IST projects (in all the three envisaged calls) to interface with the standardization activities in Europe and elsewhere in a consistent and effective manner while increasing standards awareness within the research and technical development area.
