News & Events:

The Advance Programme of the final INTEREST Workshop, to be held in Brussels on 9 November, is available here. In addition to presenting selected project findings the WS will feature an invited talk on 'The needs for and of standardisation in nanotechnology', and a round-table discussion with experts in the field. For free registration please send me an e-mail.

INTEREST was well represented at this year's conference of the European Association for the Study of Science and Technology (EASST), held in Lausanne (Switzerland), 23 - 26 August. Consortium members had organised two sessions, one of which was entirely devoted to the discussion of various aspects of the interface between standardisation and research. In total, four related presentations were done by consortium members; they were complementd by a presentation by our sister project, Copras.
