Idea Group Publishing has published a book entitled "Information Technology Standards and Standardisation: A Global Perspective". This is a compilation of (original) articles covering a very broad variety of standardisation issues.

Also, the German publisher Vieweg, in co-operation with Morgan-Kaufmann, have published "User Participation in Standardisation Processes", a book on, well, a probably controversial account of impact, problems and benefits to be associated with the active participation of (corporate) user representatives in the standards setting process.
